While this is really annoying, it usually only happens after about 30 minutes or an hour of playing, and I can start the game right back up and keep playing. I’ve been playing CK3 since launch and the only problem I’ve ever encountered is the game randomly crashing on autosaves. Now every time the game autosaves, the game crashes nearly every minute I keep opening it up and an auto save happens. Many in-game years later, saving my game would result in the game crashing, this happens every single time I save and now I needed to rely on autosaves to save my progress but it only go worse from there. If you’ve seen my previous post on here, you are aware that I have reformed the Roman Empire but that’s where problems started happening. Players initially thought it was an issue on their end and hence tried generic solutions such as restarting the system and reinstalling the game but nothing helped.
Many say the problem prevents them from playing the game altogether since none of their progress will be saved with some saying the crashes are completely random in nature. That said, a couple of months ago, players had complained that the Spanish text for Cultural Tradition Aesthetics and Tradition tooltips was missing.Īnd now, recent reports from Crusader Kings III players suggest that the game is crashing whenever they try to save their progress ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
